NEXT CHASE Account Deletion

Version 1.0.0. Effective upon first publication at this address.

This page explains Next Chase LLC's deletion-request process and its current limits. We cannot currently confirm reliable end-to-end removal of all account-associated information. Requests may remain pending while authorized cleanup and specific safety, integrity, legal or technical obligations are resolved. This is a limitation of the service, not a claim that indefinite pending status is adequate account deletion.

Request deletion

Availability depends on your app version and account-maintenance state. If Delete account is available in Account settings, follow its confirmation and current-password reauthentication steps. The email-and-password flow can ask you to type DELETE. Never send your password to support. If the screen reports maintenance or says a request has not started, do not repeatedly retry or assume a request was accepted.

If the control is unavailable, the result is unclear or you have lost access, contact support@nextchaseapp.com with a deletion request. We verify authority before irreversible action. Support can receive and assess a request, but contacting support does not itself perform deletion or guarantee completion. A support route is not represented as a substitute for a working in-app account-deletion capability.

If password-reset delivery is unavailable, contact Support for the available account-recovery process. Never send passwords or authentication codes. Account recovery is not guaranteed. Do not send identity documents unsolicited.

Save needed information first

Use an available account export before requesting deletion if you need a copy. Standard exports concern saved account content and media metadata, not all original media or necessarily the entire response to a privacy-access request. Check reported omissions and contact support about missing information. Save needed files before the displayed download expiry. Expiry of download access does not prove all stored or recovery copies have been removed.

Deletion is intended to be irreversible. Do not rely on support being able to restore deleted content. Signing out, uninstalling the app, losing sign-in access and deleting an account are different events.

Scope and current limits

The deletion process must address account identity, profile, preferences, Saved Markers, Spots, activity records, saved AI sessions, tracks, owned media and export artifacts, subject to specific justified exceptions. Our current technical review has not established complete settlement of uploads still in progress, every historical hosted shared item or recovery copies. A displayed success message alone is not sufficient confirmation that all of this work finished.

App-hosted shared content remains within our responsibility to assess. Removing a sender's name is not the same as deleting that sender's content. Recipient-owned originals, edits, notes and media must be protected; unclear historical ownership can require further review and remain pending. We do not claim those ambiguous items have been removed.

Independent copies another person exported, downloaded or created outside NEXT CHASE are different from content still hosted by us. Account controls cannot erase those external copies; that limitation does not exempt our hosted copies from review.

Upload settlement in the updated process

An upload already in progress can finish after new uploads have been closed. The updated deletion process being prepared records confirmed upload closure, rejects newly started uploads and remains pending until strictly more than seven full days have elapsed. It then performs a final owned-object and reference cleanup and verifies the required work. Exactly seven days, the passage of time alone or deletion of sign-in credentials is not completion. Normal scheduler delay can add time; listing failures, retries or unresolved evidence keep the request pending. This updated process has not yet been verified in the live service, and the wait is not a guarantee that all content, provider records or recovery copies have been erased.

Pending work and completion

Do not treat a pending, partial or failed result as completed deletion. The updated app distinguishes acceptance from verified cleanup. While Authentication remains valid, its supported status check can report pending, unconfirmed or verified completion for the same request. Once Authentication is removed, server cleanup may continue but automated confirmation is unavailable. After an app restart without the retained request binding, a status result can also remain unconfirmed. Contact Support to request later confirmation; acknowledgment is not proof of completion. No lost sign-in access or recreated account provides a substitute completion receipt. Our procedure reports the affected scope, a safe reason category, outstanding work, a next review date and the appeal route where permitted. We do not confirm reliable final completion while relevant cleanup is unresolved. Technical queues, retries and provider delays do not extend applicable legal deadlines by themselves or justify keeping information indefinitely.

Provider recovery copies, security/service records and support correspondence have separate lifecycles. Any retention needs a specific purpose and limit; these categories are not a blanket exception for all account content. Historical Analytics processing and provider deletion requests are separate from deleting a Firebase account. We do not guarantee provider deletion or a universal retention deadline.

Requests, holds and appeals

Our uniform US beta process covers access, correction, deletion and appeals. To appeal, identify your request and explain what should be reconsidered. The owner/operator preserves the original decision for review and provides a reasoned outcome; no independent team is promised.

A legal or security hold applies only to a justified portion, with a recorded basis, responsible reviewer and review date. Unaffected work continues and the hold ends when its basis ends. Deadlines are not silently reset.

Our procedure removes unnecessary verification material promptly and keeps a minimal case record only while a documented handling, accountability, dispute or legal purpose remains. Necessity is reviewed at closure and monthly thereafter. That cadence is not a fixed retention period or guaranteed provider deletion.

For an agent, guardian or suspected under-13 account, provide a brief description without sensitive documents. Authority and safety must be assessed before account disclosure or irreversible action. See Support for the verification process and 3-business-day acknowledgment, 1-business-day security-triage and 30-calendar-day completion targets, subject to shorter applicable deadlines. These are targets, not guarantees.
